A Theory of Justice, das klingt ja schon wie Musik. In Oxford wird John Rawls opus magnum nun als Musical aufgeführt. In der Ankündigung heißt es darüber:
The world’s first feature-length musical about political philosophy will showcase a script steeped in drama, humour and romance – with a musical score that covers everything from rap battles to power ballads. “A Theory of Justice: The Musical!” will be a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek, camp and intellectually profound addition to the musical theatre canon.
Zu den auftretenden Figuren zählen neben Rawls u.a. die “Fairness”, Robert Nozick, Ayn Rand, Sokrates, Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, Rousseau, John Stuart Mill, Thrasymachos, Platon, Sidgwick, Kant, Aristoteles Glaukon und Karl Marx.
